Can I get prescriptions for Glasses and/or Contact Lenses at Jahnle Eye?
Yes! Our 3 Optometrists (Dr. Mekel, Saucedo and Viloria) all perform refractions to determine prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses.
I would like to purchase glasses, how can I set up an appointment?
You can set up an appointment to purchase glasses by calling our Optical Shop at 610-446-2260 extension 3 or Requesting an Optical Appointment online. If you are seeing one of our Optometrists for a routine exam, we will contact you prior to your exam to inquire if you would like to see an Optician after your appointment to view our eyeglasses selections or get an eyeglasses adjustment or repair.
Do you offer pediatric eye exams?
We perform eye exams for patients ages 5 years old and older. If your child is younger than 5 years old, we can refer you to a local pediatric ophthalmologist.
How often should I have an eye exam?
This differs based on your eye health, but most people should have an eye exam every 1-2 years. Your doctor will advise you at the end of your exam when you should return for another exam. Some eye conditions may require more frequent visits.
What Insurances does Jahnle Eye Associates participate with?
We participate with most commercial medical insurance plans and Medicare.
We participate with four vision insurances: VSP, Davis Vision, Eyemed, and Superior Vision.
We do not participate with Medicaid insurances.
We additionally do not participate with the following insurances: Humana, Keystone First, VBA, NVA, Spectera.
