I had my annual eye exam yesterday with Dr, Richard Jahnle at Jahnle Eye Associates, and the experience again was exceptional. Dr Jahnle is incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and thorough every step of the exam and explains not just what he is seeing, but what a healthy eye is suppose to do and why it matters. What really stands out is his ability to make you feel informed and confident in your eye health. You never feel rushed, and his passion for what he does is clear. I had what started out as a scary issue for myself and made an appt to see Dr Jahnle to get checked out. I checked in and was treated respectfully and friendly at the front desk. After a very short wait I was called back to have a digital pic taken of my eyes. The tech, Michelle was extremely sweet and kind! I was then led into the exam room and had my vision checked and dilation drops. When Dr Jahnle came into the room he had a big smile and was very welcoming to me and my husband. Dr Jahnle listened to me describe my symptoms and then gave me the most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had. He explained exactly what he felt was going on with my eye and wanted me to be seen by a retina specialist to concur that there was no retinal tear. He actually told me exactly what the retina doc would do to ascertain that info. He thought it best for me to contact the retina specialist asap which I did and was seen that day. Dr Jahnle was correct, there wasn’t a tear but a 20% chance that a tear can happen so now I’ll be checked again in eight weeks thanks to the knowledge and thorough treatment provided by Dr Jahnle. Thank you! I also wanted to mention that he just performed cataract surgery on my husband, who was so happy with the treatment, results and ease of the procedure that he’s got the other eye cataract surg planned in 2 weeks!
