Took my aunt here for eye exam for initial patient visit. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Dr Melvin Roat was exceptional and thorough. My aunt had cataract surgery and has been having pain in her left eye since 2022. After surgery and follow up, She was always told from previous eye surgeon that the pain is normal and that she will always experience the pain due to having surgery in her eyes. Well, after carful exam and doing a corneal stain, dr Roat was able to find a previous suture that was not removed from her cataract surgery. We are so grateful for Dr Roat who listened to the patient and took his time to evaluate and treat my aunt with compassion. Highly recommend this office and especially Dr Roat!

As a first time patient to Jahnle Eye Associates, I must say that it was a very “comforting” experience. The entire staff was very welcoming. From the reception to rescheduling my next appointment. Dr Roat is very patient, I appreciate that, he took the time and explained what it was that I was experiencing and what I should expect with my upcoming treatment. His approach is very comforting, He educates his patient on how the eye should function and what it is not doing in my case. I left there feeling that this doctor loves what he does passionately. I felt as if someone actually and honestly cared about me and was determined to get results, the right way. What A Team!!!

Courteous staff and excellent physician care. I called with a sudden eye issue and was quickly scheduled the same day to be seen. A thorough exam and assessment was given and I was given clear diagnosis and direction for care. Thank you !!
