This was a really terrible and disappointing experience. When we made the appointment, I made sure to say that my husband has had issues with his eyes and that we had concerns. We had an eye surgeon tell us to make sure that the next time my husband had an eye exam, to have the optometrist dilate his eyes for the exam, to keep his eyes from compensating so much and to get a more accurate rx. Well, not only did they not do that, even after assuring me that they would and me asking several times before and during the appointment…. but Dr Erika Saucedo and her staff could NOT BE BOTHERED WITH US. They started the appointment 40 minutes late, and then rushed through the entire thing. Every question we tried to ask, she would cut us off (literally not even let us get the question out), and say that she would discuss everything at the end. She didn’t even examine my husband’s near vision for contacts, when he has major problems with near vision, bc she said the glasses exam “gave her a ‘good enough’ idea”. My husband could barely make choices between “1 or 2” each time, before she was already moving on to the next thing. Then she tried to skip part of the exam “and just not charge us for it”, because she “knew WE were in a hurry” (when really it was them that were in a hurry.. they were turning out lights and locking doors while we were still sitting there). She was annoyed when we told her we wanted the full exam. At the end of the appointment (which was when she kept assuring us she would explain everything), she still didn’t let us ask questions or voice concerns. She would literally cut us off every time, and not even let us even get a full sentence out of our mouths. Her behavior was, frankly, appalling… esp considering we were very clear before and during the appointment that he has issues with his eyes and we were concerned. It was very clear that she did not really care about my husband’s eye issues or our worries.. she wanted to get us out of there as quickly as possible, so she could go home. We did not request an evening appointment and we did not ask for it to start 40min late, either. If they don’t want to be there that late, they shouldn’t take appointments at that time. 0 stars would not recommend and will never go back
